Hats off to the UBians who excelled in the 2019 Philippine Culinary Cup last August 7-10, 2019
at the SMX Convention Center.
Among hundreds of participants on the most distinguished culinary competition, UBians truly
outshined and showed their honed skills in the culinary field.
For the Young Chef Team Challenge, Kenneth M. Villanueva and Gerome C. Lainez bagged the
Silver Award. Ian Gabriel A. Zacarias, Ricel D. Gabi and Chef Raymar Z. Lubis finished the
Filipino Cuisine Challenge with Bronze Medals. Meanwhile, Roel Mendoza vied for the Pasta
